Just Oil/Just Crisps

Location – Staffordshire

Just Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil is produced by the Froggatt Family on their farm in Hill Ridware in the heart of Staffordshire.

Farming for four generations, the Froggatt family has seen its fair share of changes, but it wasn’t until 2005 that things really moved up a gear. Seeing an opportunity to produce rapeseed oil from its crops, the family began the process of launching a culinary cold pressed rapeseed oil, followed quickly by Just Salad Dressings, Just Infused Oils and Just Apple Balsamic and Rapeseed Oil Dressing and Dipping Oil.

Potatoes and many other crops have been grown on their land since Mr Froggatts great grandfather’s day and it is their hope that future generations will continue in the tradition, bringing produce to the market which is wholesome and nutritious. They have now combined their potatoes with their rapeseed oil to bring Just Crisps.

Ludlow Nut Company

Location – Ludlow, South Shropshire

Helen and Bob set up the Ludlow Nut Company in 2004.  Escaping from city and corporate life is a dream for so many people, and that’s exactly what they did nearly ten years ago. They upped sticks from London and moved to the medieval market town of Ludlow in Shropshire.
They now make a wide range of healthy food for busy people including luxury porridges, mueslis, granolas and oat-based snack bars. They also supply an array of best quality nuts, seeds, dried fruits, superfoods and sweet and savoury snacks.  They don’t add artificial preservatives, colourings, sugar or salt to any of our muesli, granola or porridge mixes.  They don’t outsource their production. As artisan producers they make, bake and mix their products by hand in small batches in their kitchen in Ludlow.

Location – Leominster, Herefordshire

Tyrrells is an English-based manufacturer of potato crisps, founded in 2002. Founded by farmer Will Chase, the potatoes were originally all grown on his farm near Leominster, Herefordshire. The potatoes, with the skin always left on, are cooked in small batches and packed nearby to the farm where they were produced. Tyrrells claims the rich red soil on the farm makes for a better crisp.
